PREMIUM - 2001 BLEWITT SPRINGS

Harvested on March 18th 2001 the grapes were crushed into open & stainless
steel fermenters with the draining & pressing occurring approximately
10 days after vinification.
Tasting note:
A full-bodied and powerfully flavoured South Australian Shiraz with generous
robust fruit and soft gentle palate with light background tannins &
soft complimentary oak.
Aged in French Oak 300L barrels for 12 months maturation prior to
bottling 18th August 2003.
Potential aging for such a full-bodied wine 5-8years.
Great dishes to enjoy this wine with:
Roasted boned leg of Lamb with baby potatoes and parsnip.
Rabbit and pear stifado.
Winemakers Comment:
Generous full bodied style which will satisfy the most discerning wine drinker.
