Hillsview Vineyards understands that we are all concerned about privacy and the protection of your personal details. We are bound by the the Privacy Act 1988 and its revision The Privacy Amendment (Privacy Sector) Act 2000. To assist in complying with the principles of this act Hillsview Vineyards is required to inform you of your rights in relation to the personal information held about you and its use.
Hillsview Vineyards collects only the information that is necessary for the express purpose of its functions & activities.
What personal information does Hillsview Vineyards collect?
Hillsview Vineyards collects such personal information (but not limited to) name, address, phone number and credit card information (when required for order processing and payment).
An individual may join as a customer and be included on our mailing list just for the purpose of receiving notification of special offers. When a customer purchases a gift or a gift voucher for another individual, this information is also retained.
If the customers' personal information is currently on the Hillsview Vineyards database, Hillsview Vineyards will maintain these contact details on computer so that we can continue to provide the customers with wines related information & also to inform them of special offers.
Should the customers' personal contact details be inaccurate, need updating, or they would like to be removed from the database, the customer is required to contact Hillsview Vineyards so that appropriate action can be taken.
How does Hillsview Vineyards collect your personal information? Why do you need it?
Hillsview Vineyards collects your personal information via several channels, principally via the member signup form (as part of the purchasing process) but also including through email list signups, competition entries, mail or telephone requests (amongst others). We require your personal information to provide you information, products or services. Unfortunately if you refuse to provide personal information we cannot supply you with any products or services.

Hillsview Vineyards may use your personal information for a range of purposes including:
- To update you with information regarding your purchase and/or the goods and services to that Hillsview Vineyards and our selected partners, provide
- Payment processing
- Age identification (To establish that you are over 18 years old)
- To contact you for Hillsview Vineyards direct marketing and promotional purposes including providing you with information about new products or services and general wine related information

Purchasing Policy
- We will only deliver to a nominated address not to a PO Box.
- Wine will not be delivered to an unattended address.
- Person receiving and signing for the wine must be 18 years of Age.
- Hillsview encourages moderate consumption of wine by its customers.
- Orders not to the satisfaction of the customer should be notified Hillsview within 14 days of delivery.
- Refunds are at the discretion of Hhillsview vineyards.
